Hansa Paints & Chemicals has been in the paints business ever since 1910. Starting out in Lahore and Karachi, the organisation shifted its operations to Delhi after Partition. In 1978, it entered into a technical collaboration with Hardie Trading Limited of Australia, the manufacturers of the well-known Spartan Paints brand. The collaboration enabled Hansa Paints & Chemicals to upgrade its technology, quality and manufacturing capabilities to world-class standards, and offer products that conform not just to Indian standards but to international ones as well.

Spartan paint's manufacturing facility is located at Jatola in Haryana. The plant is spread across an area of four acres and is just 35 km away from the Delhi border. The facility is geared to produce around 800, 000 litres per month.

Product development is one of the key strengths of the organisation. This is facilitated by three well-equipped laboratories - a Resin Laboratory, an R&D Lab and a QC Lab. Over the past five years, Hansa Paints & Chemicals has carried out extensive development in the field of Acrylics, Urethanes and Epoxy Coatings. The organisation manufactures its own Alkyd, Acrylic and Amino Resins, enabling it to offer customised coatings to its customers.

Now, 'Spartan Paints' has recently introduced its range of premium 2K products and with its extensive experience and in-depth expertise, Hansa Paints & Chemicals is all set to cater to any paint requirements not only in India but across the entire globe.
